White Peak Engineering grew out of an interest in Land Rovers, modifying them and generally improving their off-road performance.
The first ‘3Link’ prototype system was built following trips to north America where similar set-ups are used on rock crawling rigs, mostly Jeeps and some Land Rovers. As the system was to be built initially for personnel use only it was decided to make use of standard chassis end radius arm bushes throughout. This decision made the system fundamentially robust and is still used in the current production models today.
White Peak Engineering enjoyed a short colaboration with ‘Gon-2-Far Suspension Systems’ where we traded side by side as the ‘3Link’ complemented their revolver shackle system for leaf sprung Land Rovers. Following the closure of the ‘Gon-2-Far’ business, we began to work closely with Qt Services Ltd. of Liskeard, Cornwall who at the time were manufacturing our outer radius & 3rd link arms. This partnership has now grown to a point where Qt Services are the sole manufacturer of our products in the UK and market them under their own brand name & distinctive ‘Qt’ logo.
Origionally started and based in the midlands, the business is now relocated to British Columbia in Canada where it has been renamed ’White Peak Off-Road’. We will be the north American manufacture for both own products and those of Qt Services. UK products will continue to be manufactured & supplied by Qt Services and will be available directly from them or via their authorised distributors throughout Europe.
